Association of Animal Protection Organizations of Ukraine

All-Ukrainian Union of Public Organizations «Association of Animal Protection Organizations of Ukraine» (AZOU) was founded in 2009 with the goal of protecting wildlife, preventing species extinction, protecting the environment from harmful human and industrial impact, and preserving Ukraine’s nature conservation fund.

The Association unites 46 animal protection organizations from 20 regions of Ukraine.

Our Mission

• Protection and defense of common interests regarding animal protection from cruel treatment
• Wildlife conservation and environmental protection
• Advancement of animal protection legislation
• Creation of volunteer services and international cooperation
• Educational initiatives and fostering humane treatment of animals
• Coordination of humanitarian aid
