Lawlessness in Nikopol: All Dogs Being Killed

In Nikopol, volunteers and animal protection advocates are outraged by the cruel actions of municipal workers — city authorities ordered the killing of all dogs, including those from the shelter that volunteers had been caring for throughout the year.

During the filming of a report, a tractor arrived at the facility to burn the animal corpses. Journalists documented the conditions: a table was set up on the street where dogs were being euthanized, with animal remains piled nearby.

These actions directly violate the Law of Ukraine “On Protection of Animals from Cruelty” and the Law of Ukraine “On Veterinary Medicine.”

The incident was documented on video and made public.
