Today is World Animal Day.

Fortunately, we are not the cruelest country in the world when it comes to animal treatment. At the same time, this is horrifying — because there are worse ones. And it is bitter because there are so many such countries in the world.

Can we change something in our lifetime? There is progress, but the main strength lies in the unity of the animal protection movement.
