Fur Farms

Fur Farms

Natural fur clothing is measured not in hryvnias, dollars, or euros, but in the lives of innocent animals.

Millions of animals are deliberately bred for slaughter on fur farms. In Ukraine, nearly 2,000 animals die daily for fur, and approximately 800,000 minks die annually on fur farms.

Harm to the Environment

Fur farms cause significant environmental damage through soil and water pollution from production waste.

Harm to Humans

Fur production poses health risks to workers and residents of surrounding areas.

Harm to Animals

Conditions on fur farms are extremely cruel. To produce one fur coat requires:

  • 250 squirrels or chinchillas
  • 90 sables
  • 45 minks
  • 20 lynxes

Alternatives

High-quality vegan clothing made from cotton, hemp, polyester, and synthetic wool exists and requires no animal suffering.
