Testing
Product testing on animals remains a widespread practice in Ukraine. AZOU advocates for alternative testing methods that do not require the use of animals.
Research
The use of animals in scientific research requires strict regulation and oversight. AZOU works on implementing the “3R” principle:
- Replace — using alternative methods
- Reduce — minimizing the number of animals
- Refine — reducing animal suffering
